My Resume

Paul Love

Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer

Visionary Executive Leader | Information Security Strategist | Author and Speaker

Problem solving, it’s what I do, what I’m hardwired to do. I’m not talking your basic run of the mill cyber security issues that arise. I’m talking complex, unimaginable business problems that leave most people scratching their head or throwing their hands in the air.

Send those problems my way because I’m the guy who sits down and buckles up. I’m not leaving my post until I find a way to tackle and communicate the problem with the appropriate parties. I don’t deliver jargon either, I’m all about serving up easily consumable strategies that’s understood by everyone. This is what allows us to work in a collaborative way and conquer the issue head on.

We all win together, and I make it easy.

It’s incredibly rare to get paid to do something you would do for free. I get the opportunity to do that every single day. I’ve been learning new things and creatively solving problems with brilliant people, for over 20 years.

You’d think that would be enough, right? Well, let’s say I’m not the settling type or I’m just a little bit obsessed with my line of work. Either way, I reached a point in my career where I wanted to be doing something more. My fondness for lifelong learning earned me quite a list of specialized certificates. What else is one to do with expansive knowledge on a topic other than share it? So, I immediately got to work writing books on Information Security. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to give keynote presentations on the topic to other information hungry individuals in my field. I found so much enjoyment in my speaking that I knew I wanted even more. So, I started hosting a podcast that makes information security fun and accessible to any audience.

Where will I go from here? When the sky’s the limit, we never really know.

One of the things I love most about the work I do is having the opportunity to learn new things and creatively solve complex problems with brilliant people every single day. I am a passionate and compassionate developer of people, processes, and relationships and I have had great success building and leading teams because of that approach.

I’m such an Information Security nerd that I have written multiple books and given keynote presentations on the topic over the years. I also host a podcast called “F Sides Podcast” where we talk about security in a fun and accessible manner.
